Sir, I wanted to know if the trial classes is provided by all coaching institutes.I would like to know about the good coaching institute for political science,public administration,and does it matter if u get coaching from the same institute for all subjects or different institutes. hi! i am an electrical engineering student! i am confused in selection of subjects for IAS! so plz help me choosing the sujects! well i have four subjects in my mind ie- History, pol. science, pub. ad. and psychology!! i want to take 2 out of these! i have following 2 combinations in my mind: 1) History and pol. science 2) Pub. ad and psychology Please help me to select right combination with its pros and cons!!Thank you! my mail id is: ksangram20@gmail.com

this is monika. I m in 12th class and i m an IAS aspirant. I m a science student, plz tell me the subjects that I shoud choose in graduation which would help me to clear IAS.

Hi!, Amit here ... I m not much experience to give my advice but as much study i did till now on this, i suggest u to choose history and physics.As u are a science student u can cope with physics and history should be compulsory for u so that u know about india very well and also history can help u to solve some general study Questions too. And Even If u are going to be an indian admnistrator u must be knowing most of the thins about india. All u need to do is, start giving very small time to history daiy and study deeply ur physucs because that is basic which is a first step in the direction of become a master of the subject . All the best... feel free to ask if u have any doubt on my suggestion, it will help me too to understand about the exam because i also new for this portal.

It is better to choose BA Economics or BA Sociology in graduation as the subjects which you study here have direct link to the subjects in ias. It is not necessary, if you are interested in studying science you can opt science for your graduation but the former one have a direct access to ias.

Dear monika, it totally depends on ur area of interest to choose the subjects in the grduation level.for help in the IAS exam you can go with Geography/physics. Geography is academic but has a huge scientific base. so, you will find it interesting. if you see the pattern u will find that geo. will help a lot in GS also. Physics can be a little tougher but it depends on you.
