Free Training Centre to be established for IAS Aspirant in TN's Districts
In order to encourage Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) aspirants in the district, a special training centre will be established here which will function with the help of higher educational institutions and the government," said Collector M. Valallar.
While inaugurating an exhibition on career guidance and a seminar held at M.V.M. Government Arts College for Women recently he announced that training of the aspirants would be free of cost.
The focus of the district administration upon introducing such amenities for the rural students is to bring them at par with their urban counterparts.
Proficiency in English, communication skills and in-depth knowledge in the chosen subjects as well as wide knowledge in all areas other than chosen subject are essential tools to succeed in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams, advised Valallar.
